Oliver Mark
Oliver Mark (born 1963) is a German photographer, known primarily for work in portraits.
== Life == Mark is a German and international photographer who studied photography from 1986–88, was an assistant at the Burda Studios, Offenburg, 1989–91, and audited with Professor Katharina Sieverding (Visual Culture) at the Berlin University of the Arts, 2003-04. He has had both solo and group exhibitions at many leading institutions including Anna Augstein Fine Arts Berlin; C/O BERLIN; Camera Work Berlin; Der Neue Pfaffenhofener Kunstverein; Galerie gloriaberlin; Goethe-Institut, Paris; International Photo Festival in Xining, China; Musée de la photographie, Mougins, France; National Portrait Gallery London; Pavlov's Dog Raum fuer Fotografie, Berlin, and Photokina, Köln. His books include Oliver Mark: Portraits, Hatje Cantz Verlag 2009,. He has published with journals such as ''Architectural Digest'', ''Rolling Stone'', ''Der Spiegel'', ''SZ Magazin'', ''Stern'', ''Time'', ''Vanity Fair'', ''Vogue'', and ''Die Zeit''. He lives and works in Berlin.
